The 5 Tracks in Mario Kart 8 that I'm Most Excited For

The 5 Tracks in Mario Kart 8 that I'm Most Excited For

5. Wario's Stadium (DS)

The big man himself!
Wario Stadium was one of the only tracks that come to mind when I think of Mario Kart DS after a few years of not playing it. I'm sure everyone was hoping the next Retro track would be Wario Colosseum, but I was surprised to see how well this track turned out. With a new anti-gravity section pasted into the end of the track, and a new under-water section inserted, this is the 5th track that I'm most excited for.

4. Rainbow Road (N64)

All aboard the hype train!
Though I was never able to get my hands on the N64 installment of Mario Kart, it's Rainbow Road certainly didn't have the magic of the others. Apparently I'm not the only one to think that, too. With it's super long play time, and bland background, it wasn't all that amazing. However, Nintendo was somehow able to warp the track into something spectacular! With a shortened track time (maybe a little too short...), and having added fireworks and a city and a hype train, the re-made version of the N64's Rainbow Road is looking like one of the best Mario Kart 8 tracks.

3. Cloudtop Cruise

So these are the kinds of places Bowser's armada goes to?
Cloudtop cruise seems like a really exciting track where ideas are spewed all over the place! There's a giant, lengthy vine, a stormy cloud section, the clouds themselves, and floating ships! Not only does it look fantastic, the music is also amazing! And this amazing course isn't even the best looking!

2. Bowser's Castle

Meet Bowser. And now, meet Giant Lava Statue of Bowser.
Bowser's Castle just looks awesome. And in both ways too, not only does the track look fun, but it just looks cool! Everything looks firey and awesome! The first part of the course starts of with you in front of Bowser's Giant castle. Then, you move into it where you meet a giant Bowser statue that PUNCHES THE TRACK! And then, the track splits into two, and they both lead into the lava! AWESOME! Words can barely express the amazingness of this stage.

1. Mount Wario

Wario now has a few Stadiums, a colloseum, a gold-mine, a shipyard, and a mountain!
Here it is. The single best track from any Mario Kart game. If you don't know what this track is, then I'm not sure how to explain it to you. I'll just say this much. First, you jump out of a helicopter onto a super high mountain. Then, you ride down into one of the mountain's icy caves. Then, you ride onto the side of a dam. Then, you ride out onto one of the mountain's forest. And then, you find yourself racing down what's left of the mountain. It's glorious. The music is also, really, really good. From the breathtaking views of the top of the mountain to the mind-blowingness of racing on the side of a dam, this track has it all.

And that, my friends, was my countdown of the top 5 Mario Kart 8 tracks that I'm most looking forward to. I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it (probably not).

Welcome, Stranger!

Welcome!

Hello! If you're here you somehow wounded up in a place of mysterious wonder, hype, and bad blogging. If you're wondering, I'll be looking on many Nintendo games that I'm interested in. And I'm only writing about new Wii U and 3DS games, in case you haven't caught onto that yet. Well, here's the first post! And I can look back on it in one week when I decide to shut this down because no one shows up!
